The Office of Public Works (OPW) is delighted to announce a series of eggstravagant and eggciting events taking place at various locations across the country this Easter. From arts and crafts workshops to tours and Easter hunts, there are plenty of activities happening that are sure to put a hop in your step.
Farmleigh has a fantastic line up of activities for the Easter break, including children’s games on the Boathouse Lawn to Puppet and Magic shows. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of cuisines at the food and craft markets while listening to music from Blanchardstown Brass Band. Meanwhile, Dublin Castle is offering unique art and craft workshops such as the ‘Easter Rabbit Badges Workshop’ and ‘Easter Chick Cards’.

“It is great to see such a diverse range of fun events on offer at a number of OPW locations throughout the country. Families will find plenty to enjoy over the Easter break, with a range of workshops, tours and fun activities on offer – there’s truly something for everyone to enjoy.”
At the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin, children can participate in the ‘Children Erasmus Garden’ and become an expert gardener. For the Sherlock Holmes among us, Charles Fort Military Fortress and Custom House Visitor Centre will host Easter hunts. Eggs, bunnies and carrots will be hidden for visitors to find. Can you find them all?
The Custom House Visitor Centre will also host tours during the Easter break catering for children who wish to become experts in architecture, history and art.
