Bus Éireann is inviting travellers to make the most of their summer adventures by choosing the bus as their preferred mode of transport along the mesmerising Wild Atlantic Way.

“As the summer holiday season reaches its peak, we want to make travel plans stress-free for our passengers,” stated Aled Williams, Senior Operations Manager, South at Bus Éireann. “Opting for bus travel along the Wild Atlantic Way offers an ideal journey experience. Passengers can unwind and enjoy the comfort of our services, leaving behind concerns about fuel expenses or parking. With Intercity connections to West Cork and Kerry available seven days a week, passengers can take advantage of our frequent services. Our passenger numbers have surged, marking a 20-30% increase compared to 2019. We are excited to link our customers to the Wild Atlantic Way and beyond.”

The partnership between Fáilte Ireland and Expressway has given rise to this initiative, as a part of Fáilte Ireland’s “Keep Discovering” domestic campaign. Josephine O’Driscoll, Wild Atlantic Way Manager at Fáilte Ireland, commented, “We are delighted to collaborate with Expressway to emphasise the accessibility and connectivity provided by the Expressway network for travel along the Wild Atlantic Way. The images showcased on this Expressway Route will remind people of the splendid opportunities available to explore through coach travel, uncovering the joy of home-based holidays. Fáilte Ireland’s ‘Keep Discovering’ campaign operates year-round, highlighting diverse destinations across Ireland.”
