Cork Lions announce Online Auction in aid of Christmas Food Appeal

Cork Lions Club are delighted to announce that will be running an Online Auction in aid of the Christmas Food Appeal.  Bidding opens on Monday, 4th December and closes on 8th December at Midnight.

The proceeds from the auction will go towards the Cork Lions Club Christmas Food Appeal. Every year Cork Lions Club distributes food hampers to deserving families in Cork City, with over 500 hampers distributed in 2023.

President of Cork Lions Club, John Walsh, said:

“We’re delighted to hold our first online auction to raise funds to support this year’s Christmas Food Appeal. We are grateful to the Cork Business Community, who have donated items to date for the auction, and would welcome other businesses to support our fundraiser with items for auction.”

The Lord Mayor, Cllr Kieran McCarthy, launched the Online Auction on MacCurtain Street on Saturday, Nov 25th. We are very grateful to the Lord Mayor who has been extremely supportive and has kindly offered, for auction, to sing a song in someone’s house in the city to help raise funds for the Food Appeal.”

Visit www.corklionsclub.ie for a link to the auction site or email [email protected] if you would like to donate an item for auction.
